  • Created Motion Builder rigs for vehicles with peds so they could be animated with a single null
  • Added rough animation to conceptualize timing
  • Shot animations with actors
  • Reviewed and approved final animation implementation

Grand Theft auto 5: Rockstar Games

  • Edited in-game animations to cutscene shots
  • Altered and smoothed out animations so they felt more life like
  • Worked with editors and director to time out anims in shots

  • Hand animated breaking table
  • Animated fight through second pass
  • Animated over motion capture so hits and falls had more impact
  • Shot additional motion capture to extend the brawl

  • Modeled and rigged everything but the main character
  • Animated all moving things
  • Project time roughly  4 days

GTA5 - After Hours DLC - Dixon: Rockstar Games

  • Recorded motion capture 
  • Broke down hour long set in to fifteen minutes of looped animations
  • Timed out animations to DJ set
  • Provided sectioned anim ranges to outsource studio for polish
  • Reviewed and provided notes on finished anims 
  • Worked with mission designer to implement anim string

  • Separated crowd in to multiple looping anims and groups
  • Animated and re-timed motion capture to give punches more impact  
  • Worked with mission designer to implement and time out crowd reactions with fight

  • Animated first pass contacts on everyone in the boat
  • Set up moving rig for boat and everyone in it
  • 1st pass animation on dead body

  • Created shot list for all actions meant to happen in camp 
  • Captured data in mocap studio
  • Implemented animation in to the cutscene and sent for polish
